Ok, time to confess something. I am not only THATkitchenprincess, bit also a shopping queen 👑 – lucky me, I don’t need two crowns for that. Ok, so I saw on Insta a cool ad of Embossed Rolling Pin – Made In Poland | PastryMade – Pastrymade (and no, they don”t pay me to write this (of course I won’t mind… so, hello to my friends at PastryMade- if you read this, you can paypal me, that’s ok 😇😇) . So I bought one of these faboulos rolling pins, and, what shall I say?! Aren’t these cookies looking very professional? Here is the recipe, take about:
- 250 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 150 g power sugar
- 1/4 vanilla pod
- 500 g flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg-yellow and some milk
- mix butter, eggs with the sugar and vanilla
- add flour and salt
- form the dough to a ball, let it rest in the fridge for at least one hour
- have a drink in the meanwhile
- preheat the oven, should be 180* C
- roll the dough flat with a usual rolling pin (I don’t even own one, so I use an empty wine bottle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
- now roll ONE time with that fancy rolling pin over the dough
- take a knife and cut out the shapes as you want
- put them on a baking tray, apply some egg-yellow-milk mix on them with a brush
- bake for about 12 minutes
- take some bragger pics for your insta and tag me with #THXThatKitchenPrincess
